• Believe that most people around you are doing the best they can especially people who work for you.
• Don’t struggle to change people especially adults, it will only lead to frustration (You may need to train people who work with you).
• Avoid searching for faults and negative traits in people.
• Believe that the best will come your way, not the worst scenario.
• Don’t think that you are better than the people around you.
• Remember that a positive attitude in any situation is for your own good, it doesn’t mean that you approve people’s misbehaviours or you are happy about an unpalatable event. A positive attitude can improve a bad situation while a negative attitude can worsen it.
• Don’t think it’s a way of being sophisticated to despise or complain about things.
• Don’t associate with people who are scornful, cynical or critical or sarcastic. Some people complain about their spouses, children, food in restaurants, colleagues and every other thing in their lives. Attitudes are contagious. Such people will influence you if you are too close to them.
