Water is very essential to mankind. Drinking enough water is important to keep your body free of toxins and make you fit. An average person loses 3 to 4 liters of fluid from the body daily through sweat, urine, breathing and bowel movements. Proper hydration is essential for good health. You need to make up for the water losses by consuming sufficient water (at least 2.5 liters for ladies and 3 liters for men). People living in tropical areas may need more especially on sunny days.
Avoid drinking cold water. Warm water is more beneficial. It stimulates good circulation and digestion; it cleanses the bowels and encourages flushing of toxins through the urinary tract. Sweating becomes more effective and improves complexion. Drinking adequate (warm) water can also prevent or cure constipation, aids weight loss, reduces body pain and solve other health problems. It also makes the skin clear and glowing.
If your urine is colourless, then you can be assured that you are taking enough water; however, if the colour is yellow and you are healthy, you are not taking enough.
