The programme was highly educative and very interesting. If you did not have the opportunity to listen to it ; you can read the main highlights which are as follows:

Don’t live to eat and drink just anything you love, eat and drink to live.

Drink at least 3 litres of water daily

Aim at at least 2 portions of fruits and 3 portions of vegetables daily

Limit intake of animal based foods such as meat, snails, crayfish etc. You can get a lot of protein from whole (not refined) grains/cereals such as corn or rice, legumes such as beans and soyabeans and vegetables.

Eat fish at least 3 times weekly

Avoid processed foods
